Dream Alchemy was founded when singer-songwriter Steve Tarsitano and Disney singer Maria Mazzola co-wrote the song Awaken about Maria's sister who had passed. The band has grown over the years to include violinist Justice Cole, cellist Angel Welp, and drummer Kevin Sullivan. The music crosses genres- indie, folk, alt rock, country- with strong storytelling and melodic harmonies at its core.
